Karas Veterinary Clinic is staffed by a dedicated and professional group of people who love animals and respect the needs of clients. Our technical team is staffed with experienced licensed veterinary nurses who perform the duties equivalent to several human medical professionals, including nurses, phlebotomists, dental technicians, x-ray technicians, laboratory technicians, pharmacy technicians, and surgical assistants.
Our animal caretakers are a unique group with diverse backgrounds. They are all skilled in animal restraint and assist the doctors and technicians with the various treatments and procedures performed on patients here. Our animal caretakers are a crucial part of maintaining the cleanliness of the kennels and the hospital for the protection of all the pets and clients coming through our doors. Many veterinarians and technicians of today started out in the animal caretaker departments of local clinics.

Marhaba, I'm Dr. Michael, My journey into veterinary medicine is deeply rooted in my early experiences. Growing up in a family that was closely knit with veterinarians gave me the incredible opportunity to be around animals from a young age. This nurtured a growing passion that eventually led me to pursue higher education in California, USA, before completing my degree at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Mansoura, Egypt, in 2012.
The year 2016 marked a significant shift as I moved to Dubai, collaborating with some of the most reputable veterinary clinics in the region. But the dream was always to do something more—something that fully aligned with my lifelong passion for animal care.
In 2021, I took the plunge to bring that dream to life. Karas Veterinary Clinic was born out of a desire to create a high-standard veterinary facility focused on exceptional care and diagnostic accuracy.
The clinic's success is not my achievement alone; it's a testament to the skill and dedication of an amazing team. Together, we're committed to continuous learning and delivering the best care possible for your pets.

Bonjour! I'm Dr. Fakhreddine Mhiri, a seasoned veterinary surgeon specializing in small animal healthcare, and I couldn't be happier to join the dynamic team at Karas Veterinary Clinic in Dubai. My veterinary career took root in 2010 upon graduating from the highly-regarded Sidi Thabet Veterinary School in Tunisia. Right from my academic years, I was laser-focused on small animal medicine and surgery—two fields that I believe are crucial in pet healthcare.
My unquenchable thirst for knowledge led me to pursue numerous internships and complete various post-graduate training programs in small animal care. These invaluable experiences equipped me with the expertise to manage complex veterinary issues, from diagnostics to advanced surgical procedures.
After accumulating a wealth of hands-on experience, I took the entrepreneurial leap and successfully launched my own veterinary clinic. For seven years, I poured my heart into building a compassionate and technologically-advanced practice, which became a trusted community hub for pet wellness.
Yearning for new challenges, I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2019, where I served in a leading veterinary hospital for a year. My journey then took me to Ajman, where I spent two and a half enriching years at a specialized small animal clinic, further deepening my understanding of pet healthcare.
In September 2023, I took my talents to the next level by joining Karas Veterinary Clinic in Dubai—a state-of-the-art facility known for its exemplary animal care and innovative veterinary services. Here, I look forward to applying my extensive experience in pet wellness, preventive care, and emergency services to ensure your beloved pets receive the highest standard of medical care they deserve.

Ćao, I'm Dr. Ajla, and it's been an incredible journey of growth and learning for me here at Karas Veterinary Clinic over the last two years. I began my educational journey at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Starting as a junior vet in this amazing clinic was like a dream come true, and it set me on a path I couldn't have imagined.
I've always been fascinated by the intricacies of surgery, and the opportunities here allowed me to specialize in what I love most—minimally invasive surgeries. My focus on surgical excellence perfectly aligns with the clinic's ethos, making it an ideal environment for me to flourish professionally.
